9. L2D Service Society Meeting
A few weeks ago I mentioned the idea of starting a studio service society. The kids seemed into it and its something that I truly feel passionate about, so let’s do it! The L2D Service Society will give the dancers an opportunity to plan events and fundraisers to give back to the community in ways that are important to them. I will serve as a hostess/advisor and offer guidance as I let the kids make the decisions/planning together. We will hold our first meeting/brainstormng session after practice on Friday, November 18th at 6:30. Any parents interested in helping? Pizza will be served!
10. Costume Scholarships! 4 lucky All-Stars will be awarded a free production costume ($75 value). Please submit a short essay about Creating a Better Community.
What issues are important to you? Why are they important? What would you do to help? What would be your action plan?
Please submit your essay by Wednesday, November 16th to be considered.
